According to the KPMG India-FICCI India Media & Entertainment Industry Report 2017, the Indian Animation & VFX Industry started growing rapidly at 16.4 percent in 2016 to reach massively to a size of INR 59.5 billion, driven majorly by more than 30 percent growth in VFX with Animation. The international projects continue to invest a gigantic share in the VFX Industry at over 70 percent, with hollywood studios leveraging the skill set & cost advantages of Indian talent. And yes, we are talking about the future, hence this is to affirm that the Animation & VFX Industry is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 17.2 percent over the period of 2017-2021, to reach a size of a whooping INR 131.7 billion !
